1.) This club/newsgroup was created to give fans a place to congregate, share stories, and to discuss our fave diva, Idina Menzel. It was also created for those fans who want to give something back to the fabulous Menzel! So Beautiful will advertise Idina's music, and try to get the rest of the public interested in her and her music. We all agree that Idina's music is the best out there, so why not try to give that gift to others? 2.) So Beuatiful wants to help raise money for charity. My fave charity is BC/EFA (Broadway Cares, Equity Fights Aids). I am very passionate about raising money for charities (thanks to Jaime from Glitter!) and would like to help spread my passion. Donating money to a charity (any charity) in an performer's name, or even in your own, is a great way to say thank you to that special actor, singer, dancer who really struck a chord in your heart the first time you saw them on stage, or heard their voice on an album. At the end of each month, I shall tally how much we've raised, and we will all send cards to the celebrity who's name we have donted money in. ----------------------------------------------------------- If any of you out there have a creative bone in your body, then why not make t-shirts, bags, pins, and other things for our fan club? It would be a great way to get the message out there that we feel very strongly about Idina, and that she should rightfully have her music sold in stores! Also, you may like to make graphics! It would be a big help if anyone would like to design a layout or make graphics for our community. ----------------------------------------------------------- There are some simple rules I would like to see followed. 1.) Absolutely no deragatory remarks in regards to Idina Menzel, her music, or any projects she has worked on. Although, I don't see why anyone would. Why would you be here if you didn't adore Idina? 2.) As this is also a newsgroup, please, no false statements or articles in relation to Idina Menzel. 3.) If you're going to use harsh words, or anything that could be pin-pointed as NC-17, please LJ-cut it. We've got to look out for the younger kids in here. Not to mention, some people might not like to read dirty words. 4.) Pictures must be behind an LJ cut. As beautiful as Miss Menzel is, I would like to keep the community in order. Long entires aree fine outside of an LJ-cut, but if you're going to go on and on for hours, then perhaps you could use an LJ-cut? Really, I don't think these rules are overbearing or too much to ask for.
